botanical glass

Three one of a kind geometrically shaped hanging plant vessels made by artist Janelle Costello of Worthy Rubble Reimagine Materials from soldered salvaged glass, broken mirror, & reclaimed copper staples.

Hanging vessels

Glass bottles and mirror fragments are puzzled together with solder and hung from chains of salvaged scrap wire and copper staples. A broken window pane and bits of shattered windshield become the details of hanging vessels nested with plant life.

Sub-irrigated Planters

Discarded glass bottles of all sizes are salvaged, cut, and encrusted with soldered Crinoid fossils and other found objects. The separate pieces are assembled into sub-irrigated planters to foster new growth that drinks up water as needed from below.

rooting vessels & trinket cups

To preserve a night of libations and togetherness, emptied wine bottles are transformed into a variety of rooting flutes, mirror-bottomed bud vases and trinket cups for all the tiniest treasures.

A creative reuse take on bud vases utilizes the top portion of salvaged glass bottles soldered to a copper base for rooting plant cuttings for propagation, designed by Janelle Costello of Worthy Rubble Reimagined Materials.
