Little Creek cleanup

Come join us on SUNDAY JAN 22 for a litter pickup at LITTLE CREEK!

Earthwhile Collective's Adopted Highway is located in Whites Creek, TN just north of Nashville, near Exit 40 off of Interstate 24 on SR-45. Our 2-mile stretch spans from 7680 Old Hickory Blvd (opening to Mt Zion Baptist Church) down to Marydale Drive. There are 2 creek crossings within these 2 miles over the branches of Little Creek.

Don’t worry- we won’t make you clean the full 2 miles, we just love on a section at a time:) And creek cleaning days are the best

The creek crossing where we will be located for this day is closest to The Little Creek Community Club, where we have listed the tentative address for this cleanup event to make it easy to locate us.

MEETING TIME & LOCATION::

SUNDAY JAN 22nd from 10AM - 1PM = 3 hour window for clean up, finish just in time for lunch!

For THIS litter pick up, we will meet in the parking lot at Little Creek Community Club.

*Always take note of the meeting location, as it changes based on what area we will be giving some love for the day.

WHAT TO BRING::

Always bring plenty of water and sun protection for yourself, no matter the time of year. Garden gloves are a lifesaver. Pants will keep your legs from getting scratched up. Closed-toe shoes are a must, hiking boots or galoshes are a plus. Bug spray will keep you happy.

TDOT will supply our crew with garbage bags and bright-colored safety vests to keep us visible to drivers. Sometimes there are 2 different colors, which makes sorting out recyclables much easier. Sometimes they supple long reach grabber contraptions, not always. But we’ll work with what we get and have some laughs along the way!

When we’re finished for the day, pat yourself on the back and let your buddies know how much fun you had and that you can’t believe how few people do such a thing.

Fuel up with a good breakfast, then work up your appetite and afterward we can all head over to El Rey Azteca to give ourselves a tasty reward:)

**If you plan to join us, give us a heads up @earthwhile on IG or shoot us an email:)
