Vendors must provide a complete description of their products/ types of items that will be sold at the fair on the application form.  All applications are reviewed by Earthwhile event coordinators and are judged first by the quality, creativity, and originality of work.  Because we are committed to curating a diverse and complementary mix of artisans, this is the second basis of consideration.
NOTE:: If you do not have a website or current online portfolio of your work, JPEG photos may be submitted via email to earthwhilecollective@gmail.com - Be certain to include your name//business name so that we may match it up with your application.

VENDOR ELIGIBILITY

Because we are an art collective with a mission to pass on skills and knowledge of handmade craft in our community, our artwork eligibility may differ from many fairs.

All work must be original, handcrafted only by the applicant.  The artist guarantees the accuracy of description and authenticity of the work as the creation of his/her own hands.

For upcycled/recycled work, the finished piece must show a manipulation of materials and originality in design. Vintage re-sale will not be eligible.

Artists and crafters must be able to demonstrate the making of some portion of their work during the fair.

Upon notification of acceptance, artists are assigned a brief statement to be used in promotion of the show.

10 ft wide space with elecricity ::  $30
Due by 27 August, 2016

There is no application fee for this event.
Vendor fees may be paid by cash if you do not wish to pay by credit card through our site. Be certain to make note of your intentions in your application. Due to the nature of the event, there will be no refunds on cancellations. Failure to pay vendor fees by the deadline will result in forfeiture of acceptance and the space will be given to the next best candidate. Vendor fees are collected in order to compensate Fond Object for providing a venue for artists' exposure and sales of their work, as well as compensation for all organizers involved in the making the Earthwhile Artistry Fair & Skill Share a reoccurring event.

FACILITIES, SET-UP & BREAK-DOWN

Artists are responsible for their entire displays. Electricity will be available to those who need it for their display and/or demonstration. Be sure to also take into consideration if you intend on maintaining your booth after dark. Vendors will be required to bring their own extension cords/ lighting/ powerstrips/ etc. Battery-powered lighting is always a valuable tool. There will also be spaces available for those who do not need electricity. All vendor booths will be located outdoors and vendors will need to provide their own canopies/ tables/ chairs/ etc. If you intend on using a canopy be sure to communicate the dimensions in your application - due to spacial limitations, not all canopy sizes can be accepted.
Vendors may be set up from either noon-6pm, or for the full duration of the event until 10pm. Vendors are encouraged to keep their booth set up during the music line-up to take advantage of the second wave of potential patrons, but are not required. This will need to be communicated in your application in order to help us organize placement and amenities. Vendors are not permitted to break-down during music sets, which would disturb both musicians and listeners.
A map of vendor placement and set-up/ break-down schedule will be provided prior to the event.

SALES

All sales are handled by the artist. Earthwhile and Fond Object will collect no commision on sales. Your work - your earnings :)
Artists shall set their own prices for items and shall be responsible for their monetary collection and maintenance. Each artist is responsible for collecting/ reporting any applicable sales tax. Earthwhile Collective will not be held responsible for any theft, loss, or damage.
